Martin Lawrence

Senior Consultant

Martin joined Wade Macdonald in June 2021 as part of the Accountancy and Finance Division and focuses on part-qualified roles.

Following his graduation from Oxford Brookes University in 2017, Martin started his career in recruitment at a boutique generalist agency. He then transitioned to internal recruitment before returning to agency recruitment with Wade Macdonald.

Martin’s passion at work is the people he works with - socialising with them inside and outside of work. Martin enjoys the variety that his role provides him and the level of autonomy he gets. “You get out of recruitment what you put into it. Recruitment isn’t without its challenges, but the rewards are very much worth it!”

Outside of work, Martin’s happiest when he’s got a burger and beer in hand, or when he’s dancing away the night in Popworld. Martin is also a big fan of playing badminton & pool, stand up paddle boarding and rock climbing.
