Phil Beresford

Senior Consultant - Senior Finance

Phil joined Wade Macdonald in early 2023 and works in the Senior Finance team. Phil works with finance professionals on a permanent basis in the Thames Valley and West London markets, and businesses ranging from SMEs to Blue Chip.

Phil graduated from University with a degree in Financial Mathematics and followed this up with a 5-year stint working in Accountancy, dealing with client relationships and day-to-day outsourced finance functions for a variety of companies ranging in size and industry. After this, he made a move to Recruitment and started out on a Senior Finance desk for another Corporate Recruiter. He had a successful year, made strong relationships, and decided it was time to move to Wade Macdonald to further his recruitment skills and build on the relationships he had already made.

Outside of work Phil became a Dad in February 2023, and now had two little boys. When he isn’t spending time changing nappies or spending time with his family, he enjoys cooking, walking in the evening and is an avid Reading FC fan; following them home and away when family life allows!
