This medium-sized organisation offers a supportive and collaborative working environment. Due to an urgent need, they are seeking a temporary addition to their finance team for an initial six-week period.
About the Job:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented Account Payable Clerk to join a busy finance function. You'll play a key role in maintaining the company’s purchase ledger and supporting accurate and timely processing of supplier transactions.
Duties will include:
- Logging and filing invoices using a document management system
- Matching invoices
- Preparing and coding invoices
- Resolving purchase ledger queries and liaising with suppliers
- Performing statement reconciliations and requesting missing documentation
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as required
- Applying knowledge of VAT regulations where relevant
About the Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounts payable, strong data entry skills, accuracy, problem-solving initiative, and the ability to build strong working relationships are essential.
