About the Job
The Management Accountant will take ownership of key financial controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of balance sheet reconciliations, lease accounting, and central journal processes. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain robust financial reporting across multiple areas of the business.
Duties will include:
- Managing IFRS16 lease accounting processes using Tagetik
- Performing vehicle audits, including rent and payment reconciliations
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations across overheads, operational sites, and other key areas
- Reconciling fixed asset registers against the general ledger and resolving discrepancies
- Building and improving reconciliation processes where gaps are identified
- Conducting monthly reviews and liaising with Financial Controllers to resolve outstanding items
- Processing and reviewing central journals, including allocations and coding accuracy
- Supporting month-end close activities and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained
- Investigating variances and ensuring financial data integrity across reporting areas
About the Successful Applicant
You will have proven experience in management accounting, with strong balance sheet reconciliation skills and exposure to IFRS16. You will be detail-focused, organised, and confident working with stakeholders across finance teams.
