Accounts Administrator – £15 per hour (including holiday pay) – Central Manchester (Hybrid) – 6-Month Contract
About the Client
Our client is an established organisation within the Property sector, offering a professional and collaborative working environment. They value accuracy, teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving, providing a supportive atmosphere where employees can make a meaningful contribution.
About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Reconciliation Analyst to join our client on a six-month temporary contract. This role will focus on reviewing historical electricity charges, investigating billing discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial records across individual tenant accounts.
Duties will include:
- Reviewing previous electricity charges and gathering supporting invoice documentation.
- Extracting and organising historical billing information into Excel spreadsheets.
- Reconciling tenant-level charges against existing accrual balances.
- Identifying instances where accrued costs are higher or lower than actual billed amounts.
- Investigating discrepancies and ensuring financial information is accurately recorded.
- Working with historical financial data to support billing accuracy and reporting.
- Utilising financial systems, potentially including Oracle, to access and review relevant information.
About the Successful Applicant
You will have previous experience in financial reconciliations, ideally involving billing, accruals or account analysis. Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail are essential, alongside the ability to work confidently with large volumes of historical data. Experience using Oracle would be advantageous but is not essential. You will be organised, analytical and comfortable investigating discrepancies independently.
What You Will Receive in Return
You will receive £15 per hour, including holiday pay, on a six-month temporary assignment based in Central Manchester. The role offers hybrid working, with three days in the office and two days from home. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your reconciliation experience within a supportive team while gaining exposure to complex billing and financial data.
