About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join an established finance team. This is a varied role combining financial reporting, reconciliations, analysis and process improvement. You will be responsible for maintaining regular financial reports, supporting month-end activities and helping to develop more efficient reporting tools. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with Excel, analysing financial information and finding ways to improve processes.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and updating weekly financial reports.
- Supporting month-end reporting, including reconciliations and financial submissions.
- Reviewing financial information, identifying discrepancies and highlighting key findings.
- Assisting with budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
- Supporting tender processes, including preparing financial schedules and reports.
- Preparing financial information and presentation packs for management meetings.
- Maintaining revenue reporting files and ensuring financial data is accurate.
- Improving existing Excel spreadsheets and simplifying reporting processes.
- Supporting the development of new reporting tools to help with forecasting and business performance.
About the Successful Applicant
You will have previous experience in a finance or analytical role, with strong Excel skills and a good understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations. You will be confident working with large amounts of data, identifying discrepancies and presenting financial information clearly. Experience supporting month-end, budgeting or forecasting would be beneficial. You will be organised, have good attention to detail and enjoy improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working.
