About the Job
This contract opportunity is focused on supporting the financial integration of newly acquired businesses across the EMEA region. The Project Accountant will lead on acquisition onboarding and support the establishment of standardised financial processes, ensuring operational continuity and compliance.

Duties will include:

  • Leading the EMEA financial integration for recent acquisitions
  • Collaborating with central accounting and contributing to overall project planning
  • Supporting purchase price allocations and opening balance sheet reviews
  • Ensuring financial data is consolidated accurately in line with US GAAP
  • Setting up and closing billing operations during TSA periods
  • Acting as a key liaison across local finance teams, group functions, and external advisors
  • Providing updates and financial insights to senior leadership
  • Transitioning BAU processes to local or Centre of Excellence teams
  • Creating and maintaining documented standard operating procedures
  • Assisting with ad-hoc accounting matters related to integration activities

About the Successful Applicant
You will be a qualified accountant with at least five years’ post-qualified experience, ideally gained in a US-listed organisation or group finance environment. You will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, a proactive and collaborative approach, and proven experience in M&A integration. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across international teams are essential.
