Management Accountant – Near Abingdon – £300–£400 per day (3–6 Month Temp Contract, Hybrid)

About the Job:
A temporary opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team for an initial period of 3 to 6 months. The role is hybrid, with three days per week based on site near Abingdon. You will play a pivotal role in producing accurate and timely consolidated management accounts, supporting decision-making and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.
Duties will include:

Preparing and delivering monthly consolidated management accounts

Overseeing the work of transactional processing teams across AP, AR and bank reconciliation functions

Managing and submitting VAT returns and Office for National Statistics (ONS) returns

Supporting the wider finance function in streamlining reporting processes

Ensuring financial controls are maintained and continuously improved
About the Successful Applicant:
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven experience in management accounting and group consolidations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to oversee transactional processes are key. Experience within the pharmaceutical or a related regulated sector would be advantageous.
