About the Job:
This is a newly created role for a proactive and detail-oriented Group Financial Analyst to join the Group Financial Reporting team. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, this position offers wide exposure to statutory reporting, group consolidations, financial controls, and technical accounting. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the group meets its financial reporting obligations while contributing to process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions

  • Supporting audit activities with reconciliations and year-end schedules

  • Assisting in the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts

  • Producing quarterly financial reports for lenders

  • Managing monthly accounting entries and reconciliations for group entities

  • Overseeing intra-group finance arrangements and compliance with FRS 102

  • Preparing and reviewing complex group balance sheet reconciliations

  • Supporting the transition to Blackline reconciliation tools

  • Contributing to the annual consolidated budgeting process

  • Providing technical accounting support on policy implementation and standards updates

  • Participating in various ad hoc projects to support financial reporting improvements

About the Successful Applicant:
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist actively studying), with a solid understanding of either external audit or group reporting. You’ll have advanced Excel skills and be confident working with complex reconciliations. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes are essential.
