Interim Commercial / FP&A Analyst (Temp / interim 5 months +)
Based: Reading - hybrid working (3 days Reading / 2 wfh)
£250 per day (circa)
Our client is a division of a European manufacturing giant.
I am seeking an immediately available Commercial / FP&A Analyst to operate as a trusted Finance Business Partner to senior finance and non-finance stakeholders.
This role focuses on delivering clear, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support on budgeting, forecasting and long-range (3-year) planning activities
Partner with senior stakeholders to evaluate business performance and key trends
Develop financial models to support revenue, cost analysis and strategic initiatives
Produce insightful reporting, dashboards and board-level commentary
Drive improvements in reporting processes, automation and BI outputs
Support decision-making through clear, actionable analysis and performance insights
Mentor junior team members and support team development
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong business partnering experience with senior stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills (SAP useful)
Qualified or QBE but with a proven FP&A background
Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
