About the Job:
This is a broad Finance Assistant role supporting operations globally. Reporting to the Finance Lead, you will play an integral part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of core finance processes.

Duties will include:

  • Managing purchase and sales ledgers, including invoicing, credit control, and payment runs
  • Posting journals, prepayments, accruals, and deferred income at month-end
  • Administering customer and supplier onboarding and maintaining contract records
  • Reconciling bank accounts and credit card transactions weekly and monthly
  • Monitoring cash flow and preparing monthly forecasts
  • Processing employee expenses and assisting with payroll preparation
  • Maintaining pension and healthcare benefit records
  • Assisting with VAT returns and ensuring timely payments for software licensing
  • Identifying and suggesting process improvements and cost efficiencies
  • Supporting audit preparation and liaising with auditors
  • Providing occasional cover for office management and ad hoc operational tasks

About the Successful Applicant:
You will be a detail-oriented and proactive individual with experience in a similar finance support role. Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and confidence in using accounting systems and Excel are essential. A background in working across multiple regions or time zones would be advantageous.
