Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Job
This is a varied Accounts Assistant position supporting the finance function of a fast-paced hospitality environment. The role will involve working across multiple areas of finance, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the wider team with transactional accounting tasks.
Duties will include:

Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate coding and posting

Managing supplier accounts and assisting with payment runs

Raising and processing sales invoices and reconciling incoming payments

Performing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies

Assisting with daily revenue reconciliation from hotel systems

Supporting month-end processes including accruals and prepayments

Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with reporting

Liaising with operational teams to resolve finance-related queries
About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role, notably in the hospitality sector and a solid understanding of transactional accounting processes. Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency with Excel and accounting software is beneficial, and those studying towards AAT or similar will be viewed favourably.
