About the Client

My client operates in the Energy industry, and they are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior HR Systems Advisor to join their collaborative HR team on a 6 month contract.

About the Job

This role will support the delivery of operational HR services across the full employee lifecycle. They will play a key role in coaching line managers, overseeing employee relations cases, and supporting strategic HR initiatives.

A key focus of this role will be supporting on HR systems implementation, so you’ll need to be confident working with HR data, reporting and system/process improvement.

Duties will include:

  • Partnering with line managers on all aspects of employee development and people management
  • Advising on complex HR matters and managing escalations effectively
  • Supporting performance, compensation, and development processes
  • Managing ER cases to ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Ensuring HR systems data is accurate, up to date, and supports effective reporting
  • Supporting and contributing to HR system implementation projects, including testing, data validation and process updates
  • Producing and interpreting people data to support decision-making, identifying trends and insights
  • Using Excel and analytics to create reports, dashboards, and meaningful MI for stakeholders

About the Successful Applicant

You will ideally be CIPD qualified or studying towards Level 5. You will be an established HR Advisor with broad HR generalist experience. Strong UK employment law knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities are essential.

You will also need:

  • Proven experience supporting or contributing to HR systems implementation (HRIS or similar)
  • Strong data/analytics capability with confidence producing HR metrics and insight
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleansing, reporting)
