About the Job

This role plays a key part in shaping and maintaining people policies, ensuring alignment with current legislation and best practice. You will work closely with senior HR leadership to support policy development, compliance activity, and provide expert guidance across the organisation. This role would report into the People Policy and Organisational Compliance Manager

Duties will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and updating people policies in line with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Working collaboratively with departments to embed policies effectively across the organisation
  • Maintaining an accessible and organised central policy repository
  • Monitoring legislative updates and ensuring policies remain current and compliant
  • Supporting internal audits and contributing to compliance improvements
  • Advising staff on policy-related matters and employment procedures
  • Assisting with the delivery of training on policies and compliance topics
  • Producing reports and analysing data to support continuous improvement
  • Promoting a strong culture of compliance and accountability across the organisation

 

About the Successful Applicant

You will have at least two years’ experience advising on HR policies and employment matters, with strong knowledge of legislation including GDPR and equality law. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with stakeholders. Strong IT skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
