About the Job
A strategic and operational HR opportunity, this role supports leaders across the organisation in driving high performance, staff engagement, and workforce development. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to advise on employee relations, workforce planning and development, and change management initiatives.
Duties will include:
- Advising on complex employee relations matters
- Supporting strategic People projects, including diversity, talent management and staff engagement initiatives
- Delivering workforce planning strategies and aligning them with recruitment and organisational goals
- Analysing workforce data to inform succession planning and identify development opportunities
- Leading workshops and training on HR policies, leadership, and management development
- Managing and developing People Advisors to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services
- Collaborating with colleagues on HR systems, reporting, and change management projects
- Building trusted relationships with Heads of School and managers across the organisation
- Ensuring compliance with employment law, safeguarding practices, and payroll processes
About the Successful Applicant
You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent) with at least five years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within education or a similarly complex setting. You’ll bring strong employment law knowledge, experience handling a wide range of ER cases, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
