About the Job
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will focus on managing monthly payroll processes and overseeing the Sales Ledger. It requires a hands-on individual with strong financial acumen and the ability to manage data with precision.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and processing monthly payroll and employee payments
- Managing internal and external payroll reporting
- Administering workplace pension schemes
- Handling invoicing, queries, and collections
- Posting daily cash transactions and maintaining cashbooks
- Performing bank reconciliations and closing ledgers at month-end
- Assisting with audit preparation and finance-related tasks
About the Successful Applicant
You will hold AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) and bring experience in payroll processing, ideally in an environment with varied contracts or working patterns. Strong Excel skills, sound bookkeeping knowledge, and excellent communication are essential, alongside a proactive, flexible approach and a commitment to high standards.
