About the Job
This is an opportunity to join a friendly payroll team based in Thame. The role supports the accurate processing of payroll for several operational units using a dedicated payroll system, with full training provided. You will play an important role in ensuring payroll information is managed efficiently while assisting employees with queries in a professional manner.

Duties will include:

  • Processing payroll information for multiple sites using the payroll system
  • Gathering and validating payroll data prior to processing
  • Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and managers
  • Preparing and uploading employee correspondence and documentation
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and scanning relevant documents
  • Producing and compiling monthly payroll reports
  • Supporting the wider payroll team with administrative tasks as required
  • Ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll activities

About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of payroll experience and strong numerical ability. You will be confident using Excel at an intermediate level, and comfortable handling sensitive information. Strong attention to detail, patience when responding to employee queries, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
