This is an opportunity to take full ownership of financial reporting and control, driving excellence, efficiency, and strategic alignment at a national level. You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening processes, enhancing visibility, and ensuring robust governance — all while leading and developing a sizeable finance team.
The Opportunity
As the senior lead for UK accounting and reporting, you will:

Take full responsibility for accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and CAPEX forecasting

Drive continuous improvement across month-end and year-end close processes

Lead statutory reporting and external audits, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and internal policies

Oversee cash flow and working capital performance, implementing tools and insights to optimise results

Strengthen internal controls and accelerate process automation

Support strategic projects including legal entity simplification and financial due diligence activity

Build strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors and key internal stakeholders

Lead and develop a mid-sized UK accounting team, fostering accountability, collaboration and performance
This role offers genuine influence across operational and strategic finance, with exposure to senior leadership and group-level initiatives.
About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded finance leader who combines technical excellence with a passion for driving change.
You will bring:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification

Proven experience leading finance teams within a complex organisation

Strong knowledge of UK and international accounting standards

Experience with SAP

A track record of improving processes, strengthening controls and developing high-performing teams

A hands-on approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Professional working proficiency in Spanish
