FP&A Project Accountant (12-Month FTC)
Location: Woodstock, West Oxfordshire (Full-time, on-site)
Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum

About the Job:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Project Accountant to join the business on a fixed-term basis. This role is central to reshaping their financial reporting environment, implementing a new BI tool, and driving process automation to reduce manual workload and deliver greater insight.
Duties will include:

Reviewing and improving month-end close processes to drive efficiency and accuracy

Developing and automating monthly financial reporting, including variance and margin analysis

Translating financial data into clear insights for stakeholders through dashboards and reports

Leading the evaluation and implementation of a Business Intelligence platform

Improving existing data structures and supporting the development of a clean, scalable data model

Supporting budgeting and forecasting transformation, including system selection and rollout

Working with finance and operational teams to embed new tools and processes across the business

Providing insightful commentary and partnering with business units during month-end
About the Successful Applicant:
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong FP&A experience and a proven track record of driving system and reporting improvements within a manufacturing environment. Advanced Excel and BI tool knowledge are essential, along with experience working with ERP systems such as Sage X3. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, confident communicator, and comfortable leading change in a hands-on capacity.
