HR Advisor – Salisbury (inside IR35)

Location: Salisbury
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Job

This is a varied HR role supporting the delivery of an efficient and responsive people service across the organisation. You will manage day-to-day HR enquiries, support recruitment activity and work closely with stakeholders while ensuring employee information is handled accurately and confidentially.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a range of transactional HR enquiries from initial contact through to resolution.
  • Handling sensitive employee information in accordance with GDPR and internal data protection requirements.
  • Providing guidance relating to pension arrangements and applying relevant scheme rules.
  • Supporting hiring managers and departments throughout recruitment processes.
  • Managing competing priorities and ensuring key deadlines are achieved.
  • Producing clear and professional written communications and engaging confidently with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Applying a broad understanding of HR policies, procedures and wider people processes.
  • Collating and analysing HR data to identify trends, emerging issues and potential areas for improvement.
  • Presenting information and insights in a clear and accessible format.
  • Developing effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Coordinating HR-related activities and projects, maintaining strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Providing a consistently high standard of customer service to employees and internal teams.

About the Successful Applicant

You will have previous experience within a transactional HR environment and a good understanding of HR policies, processes and GDPR requirements. Knowledge of pension schemes would be advantageous. You will be organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and confident interpreting HR data. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent stakeholder management and a customer-focused approach are essential.
