About the Company
Our client operates within the fire and safety industry, delivering essential services to commercial customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are creating a brand-new position to support the HR Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within HR or get into HR!
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on position combining HR administration with fleet management responsibilities. You will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle while also managing vehicle-related administration across the business.
The organisation is looking for someone confident, proactive and capable of using their initiative. A strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively are essential.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle
- Managing right to work checks
- Coordinating onboarding processes
- Preparing contracts and offer letters
- Processing DBS checks
- Maintaining accurate employee records
- Providing day-to-day support to the HR Manager
Fleet Administration
- Taking ownership of fleet management processes
- Booking vehicle services and maintenance
- Managing DVLA driving licence checks
- Ensuring compliance records are up to date
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
About You
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- 6–12 months’ HR experience would be highly advantageous
- Applications are also welcomed from candidates with strong administration experience who are keen to start a career in HR
