About the Client

Our client operates within the Technology sector, delivering digital and data-driven solutions to the sports industry. The organisation consists of two distinct operating businesses, each with its own commercial model and growth strategy, and continues to scale both in the UK and internationally.

They believe in empowering their employees with the tools and trust they need to make impactful decisions, fostering a collaborative culture where finance plays a central role in strategic development.

About the Job

This is a commercially focused Finance Business Partner role, designed to strengthen financial leadership across two separate operating entities. You will work closely with the Managing Directors, acting as a trusted adviser and translating financial performance into clear, actionable insight. The position bridges finance and operations, ensuring data-driven decision-making supports growth and profitability.

Duties will include:

  • Acting as the lead finance contact for the Managing Directors of both businesses
  • Translating complex financial information into meaningful insight for non-finance stakeholders
  • Providing market context and performance benchmarking to support strategic choices
  • Leading the annual budgeting process in collaboration with operational leadership
  • Managing forecasting and re-forecasting cycles, ensuring assumptions are clear and realistic
  • Delivering scenario modelling and identifying financial risks and opportunities
  • Producing detailed monthly management reports for senior leadership teams
  • Conducting variance analysis and advising on spend and margin performance
  • Supporting pricing strategy, cost management and resource planning
  • Assisting with financial modelling for investment cases and growth initiatives
  • Contributing to detailed cashflow planning and advising on financial trade-offs

About the Successful Applicant

You will hold a degree in finance or accounting and/or a recognised qualification such as ACCA. With proven experience in FP&A or finance business partnering, you will be confident working with senior stakeholders and C-suite leaders. A background in fast-paced SMEs or scaling environments is essential, alongside strong analytical capability, commercial judgement and ideally exposure to SaaS-based operations.

What You Will Receive in Return

You will join a growing organisation offering a supportive and collaborative environment, with flexibility around hybrid working. The business encourages professional development and further study, alongside company benefits, social and sporting events, and genuine opportunities for progression as the organisation continues to expand.
