About the Job
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join a busy finance department based in central Maidenhead. Working alongside an experienced team, you will support a range of day to day financial and administrative activities whilst receiving comprehensive in-house training. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career in finance within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Duties will include:

  • Recording incoming payments and making sure they are added to the correct accounts.
  • Processing payments to customers and suppliers in the UK and overseas.
  • Making sure charges and expenses are recorded against the correct client accounts.
  • Helping to check bank statements and ensuring financial records are accurate.
  • Processing invoices and keeping financial transactions up to date.
  • Using Excel to help prepare financial reports and keep records organised.
  • Preparing daily reports and checking that transactions have been recorded correctly.
  • Carrying out day-to-day tasks using online banking systems.

About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*–C), including Maths and English, alongside a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and confident communication skills are essential. You will be organised, enthusiastic about developing a career in finance and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
