Credit Controller – Temp to Perm – Newbury - £15 – £18 per hour

About the Job
This is initially a temporary position offering immediate impact and responsibility within a busy finance team. You’ll take ownership of the credit control process, ensuring effective cash collection and maintenance of the sales ledger.
Duties will include:
- Conducting credit checks and maintaining customer credit limits in line with policy
- Chasing overdue payments by phone and email while preserving customer relationships
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries to facilitate timely payment
- Issuing invoices and statements, and processing direct debit collections
- Posting and reconciling daily bank transactions
- Running daily and monthly reports related to aged debtors and credit notes
- Auditing the ledger for accuracy and relevance
- Supporting general credit control functions and inbox management
About the Successful Applicant
You will have 3 years’ experience minimum in credit control, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You should be organised, adaptable, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
