About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to join a busy finance team, supporting the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function. The role involves managing supplier transactions, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to wider finance operations.

Duties will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and payments in line with internal procedures
  • Maintaining and updating supplier records within the finance system
  • Managing purchase orders, including approvals and distribution
  • Reviewing spending requests to ensure cost-effectiveness and budget adherence
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Coding financial transactions accurately across accounts
  • Producing reports such as aged creditor analysis and supporting budget tracking
  • Maintaining organised financial records for audit purposes
  • Supporting wider finance tasks, including subscription tracking and general administration
  • Liaising with internal teams and handling finance-related queries

About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar finance role, with strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail. You will be confident using finance systems and Excel, possess strong communication skills, and be able to manage workloads effectively under pressure. A proactive, team-oriented approach and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential.
