About the Job:
This is a varied part-time opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to support the finance function across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and month-end processes. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance and being an integral part of a small team.

Duties will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and managing purchase ledger activities
  • Raising sales invoices and monitoring incoming payments
  • Reconciling bank statements and supplier/customer accounts
  • Assisting with credit control and resolving payment queries
  • Supporting month-end close, including journal entries and accruals
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit preparation
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as required

About the Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar accounts role, with exposure to both accounts payable and receivable, alongside month end. You will be organised, detail-oriented, and confident using accounting systems and Excel. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential, along with the ability to manage workload effectively in a part-time capacity.
