About the Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have previous experience in an operational Business Partner role within a fast-paced environment, alongside strong employee relations expertise and a sound understanding of UK employment law. CIPD Level 5 qualified is essential. You will be commercially minded, highly organised, data-driven, and confident influencing stakeholders at all levels. You would have worked for a similar size organisation of 500-600 employees.

 

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Business Partner to join a dynamic People team. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide operational HR support, helping to shape the employee experience, drive engagement initiatives, and support organisational change. This role offers the opportunity to influence people strategy while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR delivery.

 

Duties will include:

  • Partnering with business leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned with wider organisational objectives.
  • Supporting organisational change projects and transformation programmes across designated business areas.
  • Managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, probation and absence cases.
  • Using people data and workforce metrics to identify trends and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Driving employee engagement activities and supporting a positive workplace culture.
  • Facilitating employee feedback channels and promoting effective communication across the business.
  • Supporting workforce planning and succession planning activities to ensure future capability.
  • Conducting job evaluation and salary benchmarking exercises in line with internal processes.
  • Promoting diversity, inclusion and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Reviewing and enhancing HR policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Working closely with specialist teams including Learning & Development, Talent and Reward to deliver a seamless employee experience.
  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing development of HR systems and process improvements.
