About the Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have at least two years' administrative experience within a busy office environment, ideally with previous exposure to HR administration. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems, are essential. You will be highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining complete confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach are also important.

 

About the Job

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join a busy but small Human Resources team. Working closely with senior HR colleagues, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure HR processes, recruitment activities and compliance requirements are delivered efficiently and accurately.

Duties will include:

  • Maintaining accurate employee records across HR systems and databases.
  • Supporting onboarding, pre-employment screening and compliance processes.
  • Assisting with recruitment administration, including interview coordination and candidate communications.
  • Preparing employment contracts, offer documentation and contractual amendments.
  • Managing HR inboxes and responding to employee and candidate enquiries.
  • Producing reports and supporting statutory reporting requirements.
  • Assisting with payroll-related administration and employee data updates.
  • Coordinating induction activities for new starters.
  • Providing administrative support for employee relations and absence management processes.
  • Maintaining safeguarding and compliance records in line with organisational requirements.
  • Arranging training courses and supporting learning and development administration.
  • Preparing meeting documentation and taking notes where required.
