Financial Accountant (NetSuite)
Location: Newbury, Berkshire (Office-based, 5 days per week)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 plus benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Job
An opportunity for a newly qualified or finalist accountant to take responsibility for month-end accounting across multiple entities. With NetSuite being introduced across the group, you will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining controls and improving processes.
Duties will include:

Managing month-end activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments.

Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Reviewing revenue recognition and intercompany transactions.

Producing financial schedules to support group reporting.

Preparing VAT returns and supporting year-end audits.

Coordinating payroll, expenses and corporate card reconciliations.

Maintaining financial controls and supporting compliance requirements.

Acting as a NetSuite super-user and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
About the Successful Applicant
You will be a newly qualified or finalist ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with month-end experience, strong reconciliation skills and a good understanding of UK VAT. Confident with Excel and financial systems, you will be organised, analytical and keen to improve processes. Experience with NetSuite, multi-entity accounting, payroll or audit would be advantageous.
What You Will Receive in Return
A salary of £40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits, alongside the opportunity to develop your experience in group accounting and NetSuite. You will work closely with an experienced finance team, take ownership of key processes and contribute to improvements within a growing organisation.
