This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping to drive performance, challenge thinking, identify opportunities, and support key commercial decisions that impact the future direction of the business.

You'll join a collaborative, forward-thinking organisation that values transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement, giving you the opportunity to make a tangible impact while developing your own career.

About the Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will act as a key link between finance and operations, providing accurate financial information, commercial analysis, and strategic support across multiple business areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting
  • Delivering insightful financial analysis, commentary, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Partnering with operational leaders to drive performance, profitability, and accountability
  • Preparing and presenting financial reporting packs to senior stakeholders
  • Monitoring revenue, costs, and key performance indicators, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities
  • Supporting business performance reviews and wider organisational initiatives
  • Driving financial understanding across operational teams through effective business partnering
  • Supporting workforce planning and recruitment decisions through robust budget management
  • Contributing to year-end processes, statutory reporting requirements, and financial controls
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the finance function
  • Supporting wider finance projects and business transformation initiatives

About the Successful Applicant

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) who enjoys working closely with the business and translating financial information into meaningful commercial insight.

You'll bring:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills
  • The confidence to challenge, influence, and support senior decision-makers
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, organised, and commercially focused mindset
  • The ability to balance financial control with strategic thinking

What You Will Receive in Return

In return, you will join a supportive and growing organisation offering a collaborative working environment, exposure to senior stakeholders and genuine opportunities to influence business performance. Alongside a competitive salary, you will benefit from hybrid working, ongoing professional development, career progression opportunities and the chance to play a key role in an organisation with ambitious growth plans.
