About the Job
This Finance Assistant role sits within a busy finance function and plays a key part in supporting day-to-day financial operations. The position has a strong focus on expense management while also providing wider support across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and management accounting during peak periods.
Duties will include:

Managing the end-to-end administration of the expense management system

Processing employee cash and credit card expenses in line with internal policies

Administering the corporate credit card programme, including user maintenance and compliance

Acting as a point of contact for finance-related queries from internal stakeholders

Producing regular and ad hoc expense reporting

Processing high-volume invoice batches and handling refunds

Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies with internal teams

Maintaining customer ledgers, allocations, and aged balances

Ensuring daily finance procedures are completed accurately and on time

Providing cover and support across AR and AP functions when required
About the Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have prior experience within accounts receivable, with exposure to accounts payable being advantageous. You will be highly organised, numerate, and comfortable working with financial systems and Excel. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential, along with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
