About the Job
This role will support the credit control team with responsibility for managing customer accounts, monitoring risk and ensuring timely payment. The position offers great variety, combining transactional credit control with wider exposure to risk management and customer interaction.
Duties will include:
- Chasing outstanding payments and resolving queries in a timely manner
- Monitoring credit limits and escalating risks where necessary
- Assisting with the processing of invoices and debit notes
- Maintaining accurate records on Sage and updating customer accounts
- Supporting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Building strong relationships with customers to ensure effective debt recovery
About the Successful Applicant
You will have at least 12 months’ experience in a credit control or finance administration role, with a good understanding of invoicing and debit notes. Familiarity with Sage is desirable, alongside strong communication skills and a proactive, ‘can-do’ approach. The ability to work well under pressure, prioritise effectively and manage credit risk will be essential.
