About the Job
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced billing professional. You will work closely with the billing team, gaining an understanding of the billing while taking ownership of credit control and helping establish consistent processes. As the organisation expands, the position will naturally develop into a broader leadership role, with increasing responsibility for managing and developing the team.

Duties will include:

  • Managing accurate and timely billing across both insured and self-funded accounts
  • Taking responsibility for credit control and helping maintain healthy cash collection
  • Improving the effective use of the organisation's patient management system to support efficient billing
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve the way the function operates
  • Managing and developing billing team members through regular one-to-ones, objectives, coaching and performance support
  • Supporting the implementation of billing processes as new locations are established
  • Working closely with colleagues across Finance and operational teams to ensure activity is captured and charged correctly
  • Building relationships with insurers
  • Resolving billing queries and escalations in a professional and timely manner
  • Contributing to financial reporting and wider discussions around efficiency and organisational growth

About the Successful Applicant
You will have strong billing experience alongside either previous people-management exposure or clear potential to develop as a leader. You will be highly organised, accurate and comfortable improving and documenting processes. Strong Excel, Microsoft Office and systems skills are important.
