The Role
Working within a close-knit finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function.
Key responsibilities include:

Processing and coding supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.

Maintaining purchase ledger records and resolving invoice queries.

Processing and reconciling employee expenses.

Managing company credit card transactions and reconciliations.

Supporting foreign currency invoices and transactions, particularly relating to suppliers in China and the Far East.

Liaising with suppliers and colleagues to resolve discrepancies.

Supporting the wider finance team with general accounting and administrative duties.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable and takes pride in delivering accurate work.
You may already have experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger and be looking for a stable, enjoyable working environment. Equally, you may have some finance or administrative experience and be keen to develop your skills further.
Ideally, you will offer:

Previous experience in accounts payable, purchase ledger, finance administration or a similar environment, or a genuine interest in developing within finance.

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

A comfortable working knowledge of Excel and financial systems.

Good communication skills and a friendly, collaborative approach.

Reliability, consistency and a willingness to support colleagues.

A positive attitude towards routine transactional accounting work.
AAT qualifications or studies would be welcomed but are not essential. Previous exposure to foreign currency transactions would also be advantageous.
