About the Job
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy and dynamic finance department. Working closely with the AP Supervisor, this position plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier transactions and maintaining healthy supplier relationships.
Duties will include:

Posting and reconciling purchase invoices, resolving any discrepancies prior to upload

Managing supplier queries and invoice approvals

Coordinating staff expenses and company credit card reconciliations

Processing intercompany transactions and supplier payments

Handling bank reconciliations and managing direct debits and standing orders

Supporting with complex invoices involving multiple currencies and VAT treatments

Performing supplier statement reconciliations and reviewing aged creditors

Assisting with month-end processes including accruals and reporting
About the Successful Applicant
You will have 3–5 years of practical accounts payable experience in a high-volume setting, preferably within a complex business environment. A part-qualified AAT or a degree in Accounting/Finance is preferable, alongside good Excel skills and a methodical, detail-focused approach. Confidence, clear communication, and the ability to multi-task are vital.
