About the Job
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance and accounts. Working as part of a friendly finance team, you'll receive support and training while taking responsibility for maintaining an accurate purchase ledger and ensuring supplier invoices are processed efficiently.

Duties will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Matching invoices against purchase orders and goods received records.
  • Coding invoices and preparing them for accounting system entry.
  • Handling employee expense claims.
  • Investigating and resolving supplier queries.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and requesting outstanding documentation where required.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and finance projects.

About the Successful Applicant
We're looking for a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and strong Excel skills. Previous purchase ledger, accounts payable or administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career. You will be organised, reliable, eager to learn and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
