Temporary Treasury / Assistant Accountant - Hammersmith - £170-£200 per day - Immediate start

Wade Macdonald are currently working with a large, global, and established company based in Hammersmith. Reporting into the Head of Finance this role sits within the wider financial control team and will be covering all aspects of day-to-day treasury management.

They need someone who can start immediately and are offering 2-3 days a week working from home after training is complete.

About the role - key responsibilities:

  • Cash flow, monitoring and reporting daily cash balances

  • Producing current analysis for group

  • Short term cash flow forecasting and reconciliation with budgets

  • Banking functions

  • Ensuring payments made on time

  • Setting up direct debits and standing orders

  • Processing ad-hoc payments for multiple companies within the group

  • Bank reconciliations and ad hoc reconciliations

  • Assisting with the retrieval of data for audit reporting

  • Assisting in balance sheet reconciliations and accruals for all companies

  • Processing intercompany transactions and cross-charges

What you will need to be successful:

  • ACCA part qualified (or equivalent)

  • Previous treasury experience and preparing payments using online banking portals

  • Demonstrable experience of accounting

  • Good Microsoft Excel skills

  • Attention to detail, good organisation and ability to produce meticulous work under pressure

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
