Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk - Reading (Hybrid)

Your new company
Based in Reading, our IT Service providing client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a week-to-week basis for an ongoing contract. The organisation can be accessed by local public transport and the role will be hybrid after a few weeks.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will undertake a range of purchase ledger duties.

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to

  • Processing invoices
  • Processing expenses
  • Reconciliations
  • Handling supplier queries
  • Uploading invoices and general associated purchase ledger administration.
  • IT systems used are SAP and Excel.


What you'll need to succeed
You must have proven purchase ledger experience and be comfortable processing a high volume of invoices. You should be IT literate and ideally have experience of Excel. You will have good communication skills both written and verbal as you will liaise with suppliers on a daily basis.
