Tax Investigations Manager, South Guildford, £30-45,000 + benefits (Salary negotiable)

The company

The business is an established accounting firm, who are growing on all fronts of their tax portfolio, Corporate, Personal and Indirect.

The role

The position is a role created to support the growth, and you will join a small team in this department.

Looking after your own portfolio of clients, as well as new business, you will be solely responsible for delivery of support. Whilst being able to seek the support of others when required, you will also have the skills and experience in the proper areas. Skills and experience in the follow areas are of importance:

  • Management of HMRC cases

  • Alternative Dispute Resolution

  • Experience in all three areas of Corporate, Personal and VAT tax preferred

  • Voluntary disclosures

  • Negotiations skills

  • Tax fraud investigations

What you'll need to be successful

Due to the business requirements, this is a hands on role, that will require experience in the relevant areas to provide an instant impact to the work.

Resourceful and with a high level of attention to detail, you will have worked in an accounting firm, practice or HMRC.
