Financial Systems Accountant £55,000 - £70,000 West Berkshire
Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting for a Financial Systems Accountant Manager for a rapidly growing technology company based near Hungerford, Berkshire.
The Systems Accountant will report to the Global Director, Financial Systems and dotted line to the UK Controller this hands on role will supervise, direct and control all aspects of Financial Systems master data maintenance and development, supporting both the Controllership and FP&A teams. In addition, the Financial Systems Manager will play a key role in the definition of functional solutions within the finance systems landscape to further develop robust and compliant finance processes across the international business.
Analyse and translate functional requirements into application solutions, taking into account internal policies and procedures. Responsible for the analysis, implementation, testing and support of all Finance related processes. Responsible and accountable for all finance related systems impacting deliverables. Collaborate with team members within IT and Finance, external consultants, business users and also provide expertise to the central Service Desk. Support the business process with issue identification, resolution and process optimisation.
The Successful Systems Accountant will ideally be a qualified accountant (or equivalent professional finance qualification). You will have strong technical accounting proficiency
Previous experience (5+ years) in a systems accountant role or similar within an ERP environment, preferably MS Dynamics / Navision, HFM, Hyperion Planning and Reporting. Implementation of ERP finance applications and solutions. You will have excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (general ledger, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reporting, etc.). Experience of working with SOX compliance requirements will be highly beneficial.
