Senior Market Analyst - Maidenhead

The company

I represent a well-established, international organisation dealing in the marketing and analysis of commodities. They are looking to support their local team expansions and employ a Senior Market Analyst to drive Business intelligence and research in order to provide accurate insight reports to clients.

The role

  • Extensive research into pricing and marketing insights and providing qualitative analysis on products

  • Implementing improvements based on the analysis of market trends and product development

  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and industry participants

  • Challenging and Analysing data to deliver operational processes and improve productivity

  • Presenting to various levels of management and third parties

What you will need to be successful

To be part of this exciting opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or a statistical subject

  • 3+ year's experience in Agricultural Trade/Research is essential

  • Ability to undertake forecasting activities and providing qualitative analysis on the market trends.

  • Strong communication skills and with great attention to detail

Ideal but not essential

  • Have experience within the Supply/demand sector (ideal but not essential)

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
