The company & Role
This high profile role will be business partnering with the academic colleges and research institutes. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for strategic HR and steer practical delivery of effective and proactive HR business partnering services within their client areas. You will operate at a strategic level and be accountable for providing business partnering services that support, influence and challenge leaders to deliver people initiatives that advance business objectives and strategic vision. This will include:
Workforce planning
Strategic resourcing, succession and talent management
Organisational design
Capability management
Change management
Employee engagement and well being
Employee relations
What you'll need to be successful
Experienced in leading, motivating and developing HR teams tasked with delivering HR services
In depth understanding of strategic, procedural and cultural practises within a Higher Education Sector
Ability to develop highly effective working relationships and influence individuals across all levels
Previous experience of HR Business Partnering within an academic or public sector setting
