Interim Senior EMEA Payroll Specialist - based near Slough, Berkshire

Pay rate: £28-£35 per hour (via limited or umbrella company)

The company

This impressive organisation is going through a rapid period of change and growth and as a result have need for a Senior EMEA Payroll Specialist - someone who has worked across multiple countries and is available at short notice for a period of approximately 3 months.

The role

This is a temporary assignment and therefore the client is looking for someone who is available immediately or at short notice. In this role you will deal with supervising and co-ordinating the EMEA payroll and the role includes:

  • Developing and implementing new and/or revised policies/procedures

  • Assist in the development, implementation and reporting of payroll KPI's

  • Compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

  • Analyzing of Payroll

  • Review and approve supplier invoice

  • Dealing with queries

  • Balance sheet reconciliation for payroll related costs

  • Provide monthly analysis for payroll P&L reconciliations.

  • Prepare reports

What you'll need to be successful

As this is a hands on role you will need to have experience of:

  • End to end payroll including European Payroll.

  • Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.

  • A full understanding of the role of Payroll activities, including Basic European legislation.

  • MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills at intermediate level or better

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong team player.
