Senior Accountant - Maidenhead - Paying up to £50,000 per annum

Wade Macdonald are supporting a fantastic Global organisation based in Maidenhead with the recruitment of a Senior Accountant. This exciting new position will be a pivotal figure within a successful finance team. The company prides itself on it's 'family-feel' and strong customer service ethics.

Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:

  • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

  • Analyse financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention

  • Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts

  • Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team

  • Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits

  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance

Attributes of Senior Accountant:

  • Finalist or Newly Qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work within a team.

  • Proven experience working to tight deadlines.
