Revenue Recognition Manager London City (agile working) £75 / 85,000 + 10 - 20% bonus

As a result of continued expansion throughout the EMEA region my NASDAQ quoted client has approach us to assist them in sourcing a high calibre, self driven, qualified Revenue Recognition Manager. Reporting to the US based Head of Global Revenue you will be a subject matter expert on revenue recognition (ASC 606) that enables you to guide and influence sales transactions throughout EMEA.

Key responsibilities will include :-

* ensure revenue from sales deals is recognised correctly in accordance with US SEC rules and regulations and US GAAP requirements.

* review, analyse and interpret customer agreement to evaluate and identify potential revenue recognition issues prior to order processing.

* collaborate with sales teams throughout EMEA to optimise and review the structure of sales deals.

* produce informed and insightful analysis and reports for the executive board and functional teams.

* co-own the corporation's accounting policy and relevant controls for revenue recognition ensuring full compliance with the appropriate governing bodies.

* create policies and procedures to assist with technical accounting research and documentation of accounting findings for complex transactions.
