Hybrid - Purchasing Administrator - Uxbridge - £25,000 to £29,000

The Company

I am delighted to be collaborating with a world-renowned company, based in Uxbridge, on their search for a Purchasing Administrator. This role would be perfect for someone with a Finance background, looking at their next challenge.

The Role

Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, some of the responsibilities are:

  • Accurate & timely administration of Purchase Requisition adoption
  • Provide business support for all PR/PO related activities
  • Manage business queries relating to Purchasing within agreed SLA's
  • Deliver Purchasing training to EMEA markets on a regular basis
  • Manage ageing PO activities incl. reporting and closures
  • Review approved supplier requests and create suppliers in SAP
  • Review, validate and process Supplier Master Data Change Requests
  • Work with AP and Payment Specialist to update and maintain accurate supplier records

What you'll need to be successful

  • Organised, methodical approach and ability to cope with fluctuating workload
  • Intermediate MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work with large data sets
  • Good attention to detail
  • Customer focused
  • Good team player, with willingness to assist other team members
  • Confident, proactive communicator
  • Previous experience within a finance role
  • Knowledge of SAP (Advantageous)
  • A second European language (Advantageous)
