Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable Clerk- £20,000 - £22,000- Central Windsor

The company

A well-established business based in the heart of Windsor. Due to a period of growth this fantastic business are looking for a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable Clerk to join their friendly busy team. With easy access to local transport links this is a good role for someone with experience.

The role

The duties of the Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable Clerk will include:

  • Accurate processing of purchase ledger / accounts payable invoices

  • Handling internal and external supplier queries via telephone and email

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Management of bank reconciliations

  • Assisting in payment runs

  • Assisting with an accurate closure of month end and year end processes

  • Supporting the Credit Control function as and when needed

What you will need to be successful

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Previous experience of purchase ledger/accounts payable

  • Strong communications skills (written & verbal)

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel ( V look ups & pivot tables)

  • Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics or Navision is desirable but not essential
