The Company & the Role
Working for a well-established and progressive business, the Project Manager will support and report to the HR Services Director. The ideal candidate will support the management, control and delivery of the HR projects that are currently being run within the department in a Project Manager capacity. This is a newly created role which makes it all the more exciting!

The role will also be required to review current HR Operations processes including the Joiner, Leaver and Transfer processes, and in conjunction with the HR Services Manager, develop and document a consistent approach which increases turnaround time and reduces errors. Develop reference/learning materials, and assist with Training the existing HR Services team on the new processes, procedures and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support management of projects including scope, activity, dependencies, and deadlines
  • Create and maintain key documentation - Project scope/approach; Project plans and actions; Risk, issue, assumption and decision logs; and Shared project folders
  • Operate key project processes
  • Schedule and write up project meetings (working group, steering group) and support the creation of materials for those meetings
  • Track and report project progress as required, liaising with work stream leads, specialist resources and third parties where necessary
  • Support the HR Services Director with internal data and Management Information creation and distribution
  • Ensure effective communications of the projects across the wider HR team to support the initiatives

Experience Needed to be Successful

  • Experience working in a project environment as a Project Manager or HR lead
  • Be super organised/methodical, be able to drive change, chase things along and prioritise through change
  • Adept at working with project teams and stakeholders across all business functions and at third parties
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and a high quality output
