About the Job:
The People Partner will deliver both strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. Acting as a key advisor on people-related matters, the postholder will lead on workforce planning, employee relations, talent management and project work, aligning all activity with the organisation’s values and strategic objectives.
Duties will include:
- Providing high-level advice on complex employee relations issues such as absence, performance, disciplinary and capability matters
- Developing and implementing strategic workforce plans in partnership with Heads of School
- Supporting recruitment forecasting and delivering efficient, high-quality hiring campaigns
- Designing and facilitating training on leadership, management and People policies
- Leading on change management, workforce analytics and reporting
- Supervising and developing the People Advisor, ensuring consistency and high standards
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor
- Ensuring full compliance with policies, employment law and safeguarding requirements
About the Successful Applicant:
You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified or have equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years in a generalist HR role. You’ll bring strong employment law knowledge, proven experience in managing ER cases, and excellent communication and organisational skills. Strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage competing priorities are key to success.
