Payroll Associate - Wokingham - £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

The company

A well-established business based in Wokingham, due to rapid internal progression of the payroll team this business require an experienced Payroll Associate to join their finance team.

The role

This supportive business are looking for a Payroll Associate to join their friendly dynamic team. Reporting into the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of company payrolls. The duties of the Payroll Associate will include:

  • Preparation of numerous monthly payrolls from start to finish

  • Resolution of internal and external payroll queries

  • Accurate and timely delivery of payroll output and payments

  • Submission of RTI returns

  • Covering colleagues payrolls as absence cover and during peak times

  • Preparation and management of database

What you'll need to be successful

With experience already gained and having already worked in a similar role you will have experience in the above duties. Working in a team you will need to have:

  • Previous experience working within payroll

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines

  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v look ups & pivot tables)

  • A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
